Young, talented, and full of passion. That perfectly describes Tomas Puype. His love for the craft and refined, honest cuisine took shape at the culinary school Ter Groene Poorte. After his studies, Tomas further developed his career in various Michelin-starred restaurants. He honed his skills at renowned establishments such as Auberge De Herborist in Bruges, Jardin in Knokke, A’qi in Bruges, and Sans Cravate in Bruges.
Over the years, his dream of opening his own restaurant, where his vision of culinary artistry could fully flourish, steadily grew. In 2016, this dream became a reality with the founding of restaurant Franco Belge. This is the ultimate destination for lovers of traditional French-Belgian cuisine with a modern twist. Its unique interior reflects this philosophy, blending the charm of historic Bruges with a contemporary, stylish aesthetic.
